Our son, Oded was born in January 1972, at the maternity hospital "Beilinson" in Petah Tikva, Israel. He was our first-born son.

Oded had a rich imagination. He liked reading, cycling, swimming...

Grandpa Leon (my father) taught him the essentials of Bar Mitzvah and in January 1985, he celebrated Bar Mitzvah.

Oded lost his life on June 11, 1985, in a train-bus accident during a school trip. He and his classmates were in a bus on their way to a nature reserve. A train and the children's bus collided when the bus was crossing the railway. The tragedy occurred near Moshav Habonim.

His grave is in Segula cemetery, Petah Tikva.
